Special education in Malaysia is the educational system established under the Education Act 1996 where the minister to make regulations which:
~ Rules of Education (Special Education) Regulations 1997 and shall come into forceon January 1, 1998.
The onset of the history of special education was in 1998, as there are acts concerned with child rights to education of equal quality regardless of background, culture, race, color, and so on. These children should be given the same rights as children of a normalbut should be given particular attention to ensure their future. Special Education in Malaysia is known the purpose of establishing goals and objectives. Consequently,many parents are aware of the importance of education to the children to stand on their feet (independent).
